Tamoxifen citrate, sold as Nolvadex, is a selective oestrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It blocks oestrogen from binding in breast tissue, which is why it is used to prevent gynaecomastia and to help restart natural testosterone production during post cycle therapy.

As a general guide and not medical advice, users commonly run 40mg per day for the first two weeks after a cycle, then 20mg per day for a further two weeks. Some run it at 20mg per day for gynaecomastia control alone. Always confirm dosing with a healthcare professional.

The most commonly reported effects are hot flushes, headaches and mild nausea, with a slightly increased risk of blood clots in some users. Most people tolerate it well compared with other PCT compounds. If side effects feel severe, stop and speak to a healthcare professional.
