Superdrol is the brand name for methasterone, an oral anabolic steroid derived from DHT. It binds strongly to the androgen receptor and drives fast strength and lean mass gains over short training blocks. Being a DHT derivative it does not aromatise into oestrogen, but it is 17-alpha-alkylated so it passes through the liver largely intact, which is what makes it hepatotoxic.

A typical first run starts at 10 mg per day (half a capsule) with food for the first week, rising to 20 mg per day for weeks 2 to 4 if tolerated, capped at 20 mg per day and never extended past 4 weeks. It is an oral tablet taken once daily, not an injectable, so there is no pinning schedule to plan around. Liver support and a testosterone base are considered part of the protocol, not optional add-ons.

Expect elevated liver enzymes (ALT/AST), significant HDL suppression with a rise in LDL, and marked testosterone suppression, alongside possible water retention, mood changes, and hair loss in predisposed users. PCT should start 24 hours after the last capsule given how suppressive methasterone is. The standard protocol is clomiphene at 50 mg per day for 4 weeks, or nolvadex at 40 mg per day for 2 weeks followed by 20 mg per day for 2 weeks, with hCG at 500 IU every other day for 2 weeks starting a week after the last dose an option for a harder-hit HPTA.
