Dianabol is the brand name for methandienone, one of the oldest oral anabolic steroids. It works by boosting protein synthesis and nitrogen retention in muscle tissue, which drives fast gains in strength and bodyweight. Because it acts quickly, it has long been used as a front-loading compound at the start of a longer injectable cycle.
